Are you interested in expanding your company’s operations into the Central and Eastern European markets? Finnish ambassadors and companies share up-to-date information about the region's growing markets and how to operate within them. Come and hear about the experiences of Mehiläinen, Lindström, and Taaleri in navigating this region!

Central and Eastern Europe is a region experiencing an increasing need for the development of the defense industry due to various geopolitical reasons. Countries in the region are making significant investments in modernization and technological innovations, though economic and logistical challenges also influence development. At the same time, collaboration with NATO and the EU plays a key role in improving the region's security.

Countries such as Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria are rapidly expanding their renewable energy production, especially in wind and solar energy.

The Trade Association's area of operation covers a market area of over 200 million consumers.

Present at the event are Finland's ambassadors: Pertti Anttinen (Hungary and Slovenia), Pirkko Hämäläinen (Turkey), Päivi Laine (Poland), Leena Liukkonen (Romania), Kirsti Pohjankukka (Bulgaria), Pasi Tuominen (Czech Republic and Slovakia), and the Ambassador for Ukraine Reconstruction, Antti Vänskä.

The event is organized by Business Finland, Enterprise Europe Network, the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, and the Finland-Central and Eastern Europe Trade Association.

Program is available on the Finnish language site. The event is in Finnish.
