As the reconstruction of Ukrainian infrastructure is ongoing, Finland may offer outstanding technical expertise and solutions across multiple economic sectors. The collaboration and partnership between the Finnish solution providers and Engineering Procurement and Construction companies (EPCs) active in Ukraine are the essential prerequisites for increasing the participation of Finnish businesses in Ukraine's reconstruction activities.
Business Finland, in partnership with the Agency of Industrial Marketing (AIM), will be hosting a webinar to present the findings of a study on the specifics of activities of Foreign Engineering Procurement and Construction companies (EPCs) in Ukraine. The webinar will feature experts discussing the following aspects:
- The presence of foreign EPCs in Ukraine and their local business activities
- Defining sectors of the Ukrainian construction market and describing the role of foreign EPCs compared to Ukrainian EPCs, along with any specific characteristics of their activities in these sectors
- The typical supply chain in the identified sectors of the Ukrainian construction market.
During the webinar, AIM will also introduce its online database of construction activities in Ukraine Aimap. Aimap is an online GIS platform that offers an overview of construction projects in Ukraine, where permits have been submitted for preparatory works, construction has commenced, or projects have been completed.
