Finnpartnership, Mining Finland, the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) and the Embassy of Finland in Namibia in cooperation with the Namibian Chamber of Mines invite Finnish companies from the mining and support sectors to the Namibia Mining Expo on 30-31 August 2023.
Namibia is one of Africa's leading mining countries. The Namibia Mining Expo in Windhoek brings together key stakeholders in the Namibian mining sector as well as international companies. Mining Finland, GTK, the Embassy of Finland in Windhoek and Finnpartnership will provide a pavilion for Finnish companies at the event. During the week of the event, Finnish participants will also be able to visit selected potential mines and meet with mining companies on Monday and Tuesday 28-29 August, as well as attend a stakeholder reception organised by the Embassy on Wednesday 30 August. So make sure you have a full week 35 (28 August-1 September) in your diary to get the most out of your visit.
Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and related expenses. Finnpartnership's Business Partnership Support can be applied for if your company has longer-term plans to establish itself in the Namibian market.
Companies interested in participating in the trip should notify their participation by e-mail as soon as possible, but no later than Monday 31.7.2023.
