Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland together with Aalto University School of Business, Nova School of Business and Economics, Business Finland and the Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency – AICEP have the pleasure invite you to an event on market opportunities for Finnish companies in the Portuguese energy sector. The event will be hosted by Mr. Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade.
The event is based on a study commissioned by the Embassy of Finland in Lisbon and conducted by students of Aalto University and Nova SBE through extensive interviews with Portuguese companies and organizations. The study, which will be published at the event, gives a thorough overview on Portugal’s energy sector and offers a valuable outlook for Finnish companies for possible business opportunities in the energy sector, with special emphasis on hydrogen, batteries, smart grids, waste management and energy efficiency.
During the event, the authors of the study will present the main outcomes, with concrete ideas for business opportunities. The participants will also hear about the possibilities in energy cooperation and the Portuguese market from the representatives of AICEP, Business Finland and Aalto University. The event is aimed at companies and organizations interested in the Portuguese energy market.

How to arrive/parking:
By public transport:
Nearest metro station is Aalto-yliopisto station. You can reach the Business School by taking the exit ‘Tietotie’, once outside turn right and walk down to Ekonominaukio (150 m).
The nearest bus stop is at Vuorimiehentie (bus 550).
By car:
There are a few parking spots for visitors at Tietotie 1. More can be found behind TUAS building at Maarintie 8. For these parking spaces a permit is required that you can get at the reception of the TUAS building.
There are a number of road works going on in Otaniemi and therefore the parking space instruction change frequently. We recommend reserving enough time for arrival and parking and, when possible, using public transport to get to Aalto University.
